Sarah M. Towning

Vice President, BA, CHES

As Vice President, and a Certified Health Education Specialist, Sarah is involved in various strategic aspects of the business, including business development, marketing, and strategic partnerships. Sarah is also involved in program execution, where she leads client discovery meetings, administers health, fitness, and biometric risk assessments, oversees compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and manages overall program delivery, timelines, and budgets.

Sarah served as a Healthcare Specialist/Combat Medic in the Ohio Army National Guard, where she was promoted to Acting Medical Section Sergeant, supervising medical treatments for more than 400 soldiers. She was honored with the Army Achievement Medal on two occasions.

She graduated Cum Laude from Otterbein University with a BA in Health Education, Health Promotion, and Fitness. She was the recipient of the Jesse S. Engle ’14 Memorial Endowed Award, given annually to a student showing exceptional academic progress and excellence in philosophy.

After graduation, she worked as an Exercise Specialist/Physical Activity Consultant at Columbus State Community College. She also taught corporate health, exercise physiology, kinesiology, healthy lifestyles, and resistance training as an adjunct faculty member. Later, Sarah worked for Baesman’s Strategic Solutions Group, where she was a project manager and strategic advisor to develop and execute direct marketing programs for national retail accounts, including several Fortune 500 retailers. Her contributions helped Baesman win two marketing awards from the American Marketing Association.

When she can find spare time, Sarah enjoys camping with her family and friends in Southeast Ohio.
